Engineers who make systems talk to each other
eFinance exists because organisations spend too much time moving data between systems by hand, and too little time trusting the reports that come out. We make the systems do the work, and prove the result.
Our story
eFinance was started by engineers who spent years building integrations, APIs and data platforms inside organisations across finance, education and professional services. Everywhere we went we found the same thing: good systems, each one correct on its own, held together by exports, macros and someone's Tuesday afternoon. We set out to give small and mid-sized organisations the same data discipline large enterprises have, without the enterprise price tag.
Today we are a Sydney-based team covering integration engineering, API development, data engineering, reporting and database administration. We have connected CRM, ERP, finance, HR, student, e-commerce and custom systems for clients across Australia.
What we believe
- Boring is good. Data flows should be predictable, observable and dull. Surprises belong in the business, not in the month-end report.
- One owner per fact. Every piece of data has exactly one system of record, and everything else is a copy that can be rebuilt.
- Prove it. A sync that cannot be verified is a rumour. Every pipeline, API and database we deliver comes with the checks that show it is right.
- You own it. Your code, your credentials, your data. We document everything so you could walk away tomorrow.
Who we work with
- Finance, accounting and professional services firms
- Schools, universities and training providers
- Health, aged care and community organisations
- Retail and e-commerce businesses
- Government agencies and not-for-profits
- Any organisation with more than one system and one spreadsheet too many

We are a technology provider. We do not provide financial product, accounting, tax, legal or medical advice; your professional advisers remain responsible for the decisions made with the data.
Privacy and security
Personal information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Client data is processed in Australian regions by default, credentials live in a managed vault with least-privilege access, and we work to the security standards your sector requires. See our privacy policy.
